I’m Beverley Chambers, a qualified and experienced humanistic and integrative counsellor based in Bromley. I provide a safe, confidential space for individuals to explore challenges such as anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, low self-worth, family difficulties, and abuse.

Counselling can help you make sense of what you are experiencing, build resilience, and find a healthier way forward in life.

I've studied various counselling methods including couples counselling, brief solution focused therapy, life coaching, motivational interviewing, family therapy, alcohol addiction counselling etc, which makes me an integrative counsellor, whilst using the mentioned approaches I implement the person-centred philosophy of Carl Rogers. He teaches that:

"For a person to grow, they need an environment that provides them with genuineness, acceptance (being seen with unconditional positive regard) and empathy (being listened to and understood)."

How Counselling can Help

Life can feel overwhelming at times, and it’s not always easy to cope alone. Counselling gives you the chance to talk openly, without judgment, and gain clarity on what’s troubling you.

I work with a wide range of issues, including:
- Anxiety, stress and panic attacks
- Depression and low mood
- Lack of confidence and self-worth
- Family relationship difficulties
- Marital and relationship problems
- Domestic abuse
- Sexual abuse
- Past trauma or unresolved experiences
- Grief, bereavement and loss
- Work-related stress and burnout
- Life changes such as separation, retirement or health issues

How we can work together

We are all unique and work in different ways, so I use various counselling skills determined by the individual, simply because "one size does not fit all". Still I maintain the philosophy of Carl Rogers' teachings, as mentioned above.

If you feel you need or would benefit from counselling, you can contact me for a no-obligation initial assessment via this website, email baccounselling@gmail.com or call me on 07525656505
